Episode Notes
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.
We have a lot of worries. And lots of tips out there about how to worry less. But here’s one that really works and I got it from a dog.
Canada’s favorite dog, Pluto (with the world’s most UNrenowned photographer NJ Wight [© NJ Wight/Pluto Living ™ ]) says worrying about things in the future is like cutting your toenails before they’ve grown long. Hmmm! Imagine that.
Practical Tip: Worry about what’s front and center – what you can do something about. As to the rest – that stuff in the unknowable, unseeable, uncertain future? Like cutting your toenails before they’ve grown. Just. Don’t.
