Episode Notes
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.
My father snorted if he was irritated. When he tried to teach me to parallel park he snorted enough for a lifetime – and still I didn’t learn.
I’ve spent my life avoiding parallel parking until the other day when I was faced with only one parking space – on the tiny road – that led to my favorite beach walk. I lined up my car, cut the wheels, backed up, pulled forward and parked. I stepped out of my car to see an absolutely perfect parallel parking job.
Imagine this: A woman in her Middle Earth years clapping wildly because she (finally) nailed it.
Question: What achievement are you going to wildly clap about today?
