60 Seconds: Our Life As A River.
by Diane Wyzga | August 12, 2020 | 60 Seconds, Podcast | 0 comments
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.
They say that we can never go home again. I’ve always wondered about that and over the years have come to understand that we are like rivers. “No river can return to its source, yet all rivers must have a beginning.”
Your river had a beginning. Maybe it was a good beginning, or a rocky beginning, or a slow and trickling beginning. But you began. And, over time the river that is you changed course because of people you encountered.
- Who showed you amazing kindness or forgiveness?
- Who changed the course of your life?
- Who gave you courage to do something difficult?
And, if you can, reach out and thank them.
This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories – stay for the magic. Speaking of magic, would you share a nice rating/review on Apple Podcasts and when you come back bring your friends and rellies.
