Episode Notes
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.
It must have been the early part of 2012 when he found me on the Internet. A long-ago love of my life, our paths parting as paths do. Recognize the story? But there he was – in my email Inbox. Who was I to say “No” to Fate circling around again?
By the time I put my house on the market to move to Whidbey he had been traveling internationally quite a bit. The fatal heart attack came 30 years to the day of the one that took down his dad.
Here’s the thing: We are born, we live, if we are lucky we love, and then we die. That is the way of things. Of course we grieve those who have gone before us because we miss them. And, if we have lived and loved well, others will miss us.
This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories – stay for the magic.
