“Wisdom is knowing what to do.

Integrity is knowing when to do it.”

I imagine that for veterinary staff and animal owners alike those words bring a message of comfort and guidance when we are considering the best choices – not for ourselves – but for the one in our care.

I can’t help but think that these words apply as well to our own work: what we do, for whom we do it, how we serve.
