Episode Notes
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.
When we practice walking meditation, we try to let go of any need to accomplish anything but walking. We know that just by being aware of our breath, we can calm our mind and calm our body. By being aware of placing one foot gently on the earth and then the next foot we arrive at home – at peace.
Practical Tip: Keeping our attention on the breath, we can say to ourselves:
Breathing in, I’m aware of my in-breath.
Breathing out, I’m aware of my out-breath.
This is a very good use of time.
This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories – stay for the magic.
