60 Seconds for Time Out Tuesday: More Mindful More Effective. Truth!

Hello to you listening in Spicewood, Texas!
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Time Out Tuesday and your host, Diane Wyzga.
Question: Why are we given all this Life?
We seem to railroad right through it, careening from one project, task, appointment, Zoom online whatever to another. We eat our meals in front of the computer or TV or device of choice and have no clue what we ate or how it tasted. We drive from here to there oblivious of how it happened. It’s time to stop.
The more mindful we are, the more engaged we are in the Life we are given.
Well-documented scientific studies have shown that when we pay attention, when we are aware, when we are mindful instead of mindless we can reduce levels of emotional exhaustion, stress, depression, and anxiety. We can also improve personal accomplishment, self-compassion, quality of sleep, and relaxation.
Practical Tip: Just for today pay attention to how you are moving from here to there even it’s as simple as walking from your bedroom to the kitchen. Be aware of how your whole body takes you from one place to another. Say thank you. And do it again.
