Everyone everywhere seems intent on doing their  unique bit to shift, dent, change, impact, disrupt, disturb or create a ruckus so that the world is a little better off when the sun goes down at the end of the day.

That’s all well and good. The world needs a hand up. But while you’re making your way in the world with all this serious work you have to do remember to take yourself lightly, not so gosh darn preposterously serious. It’s a lesson I’ve learned later in life. Take delight in your work! Have a good time with it. Relish the moments you are being of use. Savor the pleasure of being alive.
