60 Seconds For Time Out Tuesday – Give Your Eyes A Rest.
by Diane Wyzga | July 21, 2020 | 60 Seconds, Podcast | 0 comments
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.
Close your eyes. Give them a rest. Thank them for everything they do every day.
Your eyes read faces, the computer screen, directions on a page, a recipe, music notes, your cell phone, the roads and highways you travel in your car, the dashboard of your car. Your eyes reflect the sun and the moon and the stars. They read faces of loved ones, animal companions, strangers, colleagues. Your eyes tell you when it is okay and when it is not. They show you the way in and the way out, the wonders of nature, how to travel safely, navigate your way, sort the socks in the dryer, which products to use to clean the house and then to clean it.
All this and so much more your eyes do for you. As you rest there thank your eyes with deep appreciation. And if you no longer can rely on your eyes for sight, what senses bring sight to you? Thank those.
This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories – stay for the magic. Speaking of magic, would you share a nice rating/review on iTunes and when you come back bring your friends and rellies.
