60 Seconds For Time Out Tuesday: Ask or Dream?
by Diane Wyzga | October 27, 2020 | 60 Seconds, Podcast | 0 comments
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips, and general riffing on this and that.
When I was younger than I am today I used to ask for what I thought I wanted and felt disappointed when I didn’t get what I asked for. In time I may have gotten something else, something better, something unimagined – at least to my conscious mind.
It took age to realize that asking for what I think I want is playing small. How so? “We don’t get what we ask for; we get what we dream of.” What we dream of might not be right on the surface, may be more elusive. It’s not impossible, just a little more difficult to grasp. But if you believe in dreams then know this: what you dream of is coming to you from where it is.
This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories – stay for the magic. Speaking of magic, would you share a nice rating/review on Apple Podcasts and when you come back bring your friends and rellies.
