60 Seconds for Thoughts on Thursday: Live Your Own Life

Hello to you listening in Silveira do Pinto, Portugal!
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds for Thoughts on Thursday.
On this Feast Day of Little Christmas and the Epiphany I’m aware of many reminders about how to live one’s own life:
From the write Carol Cassella: “You’ll make a lot of choices in your life – some like mine, some different. But you can’t know who you are unless you know who you are not. Meet your limits and overcome what you can. On your own.” [Gemini 2014]
From Rumi: “And do not worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?” ~ Rumi
But here’s the real reason why it’s time to live your own life and not someone else’s: it will just take too much wasted effort to figure out how to do it their way instead of your way. So, even if it’s taking you more time than you might like to figure out your life, it is your life. Own that!
Question: What will you own as your Life Epiphany?
