Episode Notes
Hello to you, Charlotte Wittenkamp, listening in Tisvildeleje, Denmark!
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds for Motivate your Monday.
On my last day in Finisterre, Spain, I walked the wide beach to calm my anxiety about returning home. So much trash had come in on the tide; how to pick it all up? And, like magic I saw a discarded 5 gallon plastic bucket. Staggering under the weight of what I collected I stopped in the doorway of the bar/restaurant asking: ¿Dónde está la papelera para esta basura? (Where is the bin for this trash?)
The barkeep pointed outside. Back inside the bar I ordered a grande Cerveza for my labors. My money was refused. One of the locals turned to me and said, “It’s for you – for cleaning up the beach.”
Even our smallest gestures delight the world. When you feel your worst step outside and offer a kind gesture. It will re-awaken our universal spiritual heart. Guaranteed!
Question: What is the smallest gesture you can offer to delight the world today?
