Episode Notes
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds, your daily dose of hope, imagination, wisdom, stories, practical tips and general riffing on this and that.
When I first learned to fly a Cessna 152 I was very aware of something I couldn’t do so well: read a map to navigate. My instructor had me use the FOM method – finger on map. At all times I was to have my finger – usually my thumb – on the map so I knew where I was and where I was going. Did it mean I turned the map around as I flew? Yes.
It’s no different if you’re piloting a boat, walking trail in the woods, or seeing your business through to the next phase or step or generation. You have to know where you are and where you want to go. How else can you navigate unless you have your finger on the map?
This is the place to thrive together. Come for the stories – stay for the magic. Speaking of magic, would you share a nice rating/review on iTunes and when you come back bring your friends and rellies.
